For some days now the report of Olayode Juliana’s exit from popular TV series and AMVCA 2017 best comedy TV series winner has being circulating online and i have refused to comment on the story for some personal reasons.
But this morning I woke up to another story making rounds that Olayode exited the popular comedy series over some three thousand pay stint. This is by no way an official statement or comment from either parties involved but I can confirm that the above story is fake and has no truth in it.
It will be dumb for anyone to think that Olayode who has helped grown the popular series from its first season to what it is now will be payed a sum of three thousand for her role and consistency. Even me who am a start in my own right will not collect that.
I think it will now be dumber to think that the two parted ways based on a three thousand rift. Olayode is unarguably one of the top five stars of Jenifa Daires. Unconfirmed reports have it that actors like Lota Chukwu, Omotunde Lolo 1, Falz D Bahd Guy and Olayode Juliana are the highest paid actors who take home 150k per season.

Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa and others who made cameo appearances on the show reportedly got between 100k and 300k. So the story of the two parting ways because of three thousand point blank baseless.
While no official statement has been made its safe to speculate that a Funke Akindele and Olayode Juliana parted ways as a result of financial disagreements. Like a class friend said. Toyo Baby is now a brand and you don’t expect her to be receiving the same pay now as she did at the start of the series.
Olayode was suddenly cut off from the widely watched TV series. Juliana Olayode was visibly absent in a recent photoshoot held for the upcoming season. You will also note that Juliana was absent at events and parties that held at Funke’s house in Lekki.
Funke and Juliana have also unfollowed each other on their social media accounts.
While we await official statements, we wish both parties the best going forward.
